  • Assets with or without current clinical development in Japan
  • Companies open to discussing Japan-only and Japan-inclusive regional rights
  • Assets aligned with AbbVie Japan priorities and therapeutic areas of interest

  • Assets in the following therapeutic areas that compliment AbbVie Japan’s portfolio and pipeline without cannibalizing ongoing development
    • Immunology
    • Oncology
    • Neuroscience
    • Eye Care
    • Hepatology  (including MASH/NASH)

Key Evaluation Criteria

  • Development stage (Late stage or  marketed outside Japan)
  • Strategic fit with AbbVie’s therapeutic focus
  • Clear differentiation versus existing standards of care
  • Potential value and feasibility for the Japan market
